Hihi friends of Hazelnutt (",)
Remember the dress-up paperdolls that we used to play with as kids?
A couple of days back, The Tod and I embarked on a lil' crafty project.
She had lots of fun with this lifesize dress-up doll that we put together - similar concept as the dress-up paper dolls.
Here's how I put this lil' project together:
First, I cropped a photo of The Tod, leaving only her head and printed it on photopaper.
Next, I looked for some pictures of accessories like bags, bracekets, hair clips and watches online and printed them out on paper and laminated everything.
Here's the part that The Tod chipped in - I outlined some outfits and shoes which The Tod painted in.
Here's how the painted tee and shorts look like after laminating.
I wanted to add some blu-tac on the back of the cut-outs so that The Tod could paste the cut-outs on the wall. However she couldn't wait and started assembling her doll on the floor.
Simple and easy to put together. The Tod is asking to create more outfits for her doll. I guess she likes it (",)
maybe u can create some of this for your play corner? Can be a good time filler
I think If I ever take the pre nursery class, I will do this activity with my kids! My K1s this year are too big for me to do this haha
